Have you ever had one of those moments when time actually slowed down. Where every bite of the dish was so awesome you were actually a little depressed when it was gone? That was this dish for me. I had it at the Tea House in the Butchart Gardens on Vancouver Island. It was warm and creamy and had this delicious savoury croquette right in the middle.
I'm a huge Pad Thai fan and adding crab on top just brings this dish to a whole new level. So yummy!!! The sad part of this is that my favourite Thai restaurant has stopped selling this dish. If anyone has found this elsewhere let me know!
If you've ever been hiking on a mountain or hillside then you might have walked right over them. They are much smaller than regular strawberries, but they are so much sweeter. Just be sure to grab what you need and keep going. Chances are there is something big and furry in the woods that can smell those berries too.
I try not to eat a lot of deli meat because it's not very good for you, but this is one of my favourite indulgences. I know it seems like a weird combination but it really works. The sweet figs are a great compliment to the salty prosciutto and bitter arugula. Mmmmm...I'm drooling down.
I know rabbit isn't for everyone but in my mind it's better than chicken. And when it's cooked down with wine, garlic and onions it's just that much better.
