Got a case of the Mondays?
I'm not a big smoothie fan, but if I'm in a hurry and need a quick pick-me up, this one is my favorite! A good source of protein, fiber and antioxidants. The pineapple helps mellow out the greens.
Morning Power Smoothie
1.5 cups almond milk
1 cup spinach or kale
1 cup pineapple
2 tbsp brown rice protein powder (You can substitute in your own protein powder or powdered milk)
2 tbsp ground flax seed or almond butter
1) Place all ingredients in blender the order listed and blend smooth. Serve immediately.
Makes 2 servings
