While it might seem easiest to just take antacids or medication to fix the problem it is also important to consider what is causing the problem in the first place. If you can identify that you might be able to reduce or eliminate the need for medication all together.

Bottom Line: You may want to try cutting down on beverages with caffeine and alcohol and quit smoking.
Possible Reason #5- Some of the Foods Your Are Eating
Bottom Line: You might want to try removing these foods from your diet to see if it helps then add them back in one at a time to see if you get a reaction. Visiting a registered dietitian for more advice might help you find a more specific reasons for your heart burn.
