Hamilton can be a rough city in some parts but it's also got some serious hidden gems when it comes to restaurants. I recently went to Boo's Bistro downtown after tasting samples of their food at the localicious launch party.
It's nothing special on the outside, but inside it's a very well kept and inimate little
restaurant lit by candle light. The food certainly isn't cheap, but it's worth every penny. Everything is fresh and made to order, which can be a rarity these days.
During my meal I had a cauliflower and lime soup which tasted like this terrific curry sauce I used to have in school. I also had a roasted peach wrapped in burbon sauce and pancetta and finally a stuffed chicken breast in mojito sauce. I usually don't try these many dishes, but it was part of their localicious package. It was a decadent night for sure, but we all need to celebrate sometimes and I would highly reccomend checking this restaurant out if you are looking for a classy intimate night out.
