It`s very easy now to get your hands on calorie dense and nutritionally empty foods in a matter of minutes. These foods would take us much longer to make if we prepared them at home from scratch. Which is why most of us do not. Still if you think about it, it does make sense. If these foods are labor intensive to make at home we would only make them once in a while creating a natural form of portion control.
Yes, it takes more time to prepare things from scratch, but remember: if you make it yourself YOU control what is in the food and not some company.
